An overview of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro

The new MacBook and MacBook Pro, represents a significant shift in the eleventh Apple notebooks. The biggest change is in the manufacturing process. Instead of polycarbonate, the MacBook is designed in a CNC machined aluminum block. The same goes for the MacBook Pro

In the MacBook, means it has a lighter machine, which is also a more rigid structure. The MacBook Pro also uses this method of manufacture. Thus, instead of this fake aluminum thin dents easily, you get something much more substantial.

In both regular MacBook and MacBook Pro, you get a glass trackpad. Gone is the button click. By contrast, the entire trackpad is the button click. For this reason, you also get over 30% more real estate trackpad. Like the MacBook Air, various gestures can also be used with the trackpad.

The screen has not been ignored. You get LED backlight. Compared with conventional lighting (called CFLs) LED backlight is much brighter, to obtain the optimum brightness near the moment and is more consistent. This will make photographers and others who rely on their shows very happy.

The screen is surrounded in black and wrapped in a sheet glass. Those who prefer a matte screen may find this annoying. But I do not shine all that distracting and ultimately the deeper / richer colors are more than compensated for it.

Nvidia powers of the screen for two models of MacBook. Instead of Intel integrated graphics, the MacBook is Nvidia GeForce 9400M. The MacBook Pro gets a GeForce 9400M and 9600M GT. Depending on the situation, the user can switch between graphics chips either.

MacBook users will see the difference large as graphics chips from Intel for the latest offers so-so performance at best. MacBook Pro users should also see improved performance in the 9600M GT, but has yet to budget desktop SLI configurations that you can put together.

One area where a lot of fans complain Macbook loud is the lack of FireWire. People like FireWire, as it provides a target disk mode, it uses fewer resources than USB 2.0, and some find it slightly faster than USB 2.0. Users will have to step up to a Macbook Pro if they want their firewire.

Instead of users use DVI DisplayPort. It is much more compact and supports DVI and VGA connections. From that moment, there is little industry support for DisplayPort.

Overall, the MacBook and MacBook Pro Line received an update Nice. Both are very strong and represent the finest Some laptops available today. If you are looking for a laptop that offers plenty of bang for the buck, look elsewhere. You can purchase a Dell laptop configuration similar to hundreds less. They have very nice outside, but performance general would be similar. But for those who prefer to use a Mac, this new line is hard to resist because you are improving and refining total.
